The writing process is essentially the same whether you are writing for your soul or for an audience or both!

REMEMBER: WRITING IS THINKING!

In the beginning...

Start with free writing. Free writing is writing whatever pops into your head. You must put pen (or pencil) to paper! Write for a time limit and then see where you are. For example, write for 10 minutes, and when your timer goes off, see if you still feel like writing anymore. If so, go for it! If not, you have a good start! Feel free to add to your writing at any time!
